Mottokrosh's Eldritch Online Character Sheet

This web app is an online character sheet for Pathfinder, with auto-saving, spell-lookup, and more, in a pretty package. It's one my earliest publicly released RPG apps, and it is enjoyed to this day by thousands—I'm not exaggerating—of Pathfinder gamers. The document database is bursting at the seams.

This was written in AngularJS 1, which was all the rage at the time, and has a slim backend in NodeJS, which largely just deals with OAuth authentication (via Google and GitHub), and database (MongoDB) matters.

• Would you be able to make it downloadable as a PDF? Or view it in the site like you're editing it? I like being able to click on the spells to see what they are. If not, that's completely understandable!

• I'm hoping downloadable PDFs will be part of the brand new version I'm working on.

• Is there any way to add a spell description for a spell not in the database? I'm able to add a custom spell, name it, level, school, but I can't write in the description field so that it looks like all the other spells. I suppose I could fill out the "notes" section as the other spells are in "description" but having some spells different is inconsistent. Thanks!

• Hi Logan. The notes section is unfortunately the only way to add custom spell descriptions at the moment. I'm working on a brand new version of this app, and I'll bear this in mind for it.

• Hey, first of all mad props from a fellow dev! Coming to the reason of this comment, could you add the option to hide abilities, mainly those with no grades assigned? Would make searching for that one bonus value quicker, imho ;)

• Hey uh, so, after you download your character sheet, I'm not sure how you're supposed to open it again.

• The current download feature is only for personal backup purposes, and the app doesn't allow you to re-import them unfortunately. The new app will do.

• The app appears to have stopped working in chrome. Whenever I login with my google account it just stops and does nothing.

• This appears to be an isolated incident, and we're discussing it over email.

• There is a memory leak in the code somewhere that causes the app to occasionally crash. I'm still trying to hunt it down. It should generally come back up by itself a few minutes after such a crash.

• With the second version would it be possible to implement the feature too use a diffrent ability score than the one normally used. For Example my Lunar Oracle uses Cha instead of Dex for Reflex saving Throws and Armor Class, while it is not really a problem since you can change the final stat but it would be a very nice Feature.

• I've been using this program for years, and absolutely love it. When I tried to sign into it today (through Google), I got the message that "You can't sign in to this app because it doesn't comply with Google's OAuth 2.0 policy for keeping apps secure." I am hoping that this is a temporary issue, and that saved characters are not lost. I would love to donate to the creator of this app, but haven't really been able to figure out how!

• I've currently been having a error with logging on with google, the error being Error 400: invalid_request, it says it doesn't comply with one or more Google validation rules or with Google's OAuth 2.0 policy.

• i've been logging in via google and that log in method is no longer working, no matter the browser, can i ask if there is a way to move the characters from one account to another

• So I have been using your online character sheet for years and today I tried signing in (with google authentication) and it fails do too "the site not complying with googles standards" is there a way for me to recover my character sheets and switch over to the git authorization or is this only a temporary issue
